Woltbooks ("the App") is a Shopify application that generates invoices, proforma invoices, and estimates from your store's orders. This page explains what data the App accesses, how it's used, and how it's handled.
To provide invoicing and estimate features, the App requests read access to:
Order and customer data is used solely to generate PDF invoices, proforma invoices, and estimates on your behalf, and to display them within the App's dashboard inside your Shopify admin. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing purposes.
Order, customer, and estimate data is stored securely in our database, scoped to your shop, and is only accessible to your store's authenticated Shopify admin session. Company branding assets (logo, signature, payment QR code) that you upload in Settings are stored as part of your shop's configuration.
We retain invoice records for as long as your shop uses the App, consistent with standard tax record-keeping requirements. If a customer requests access to or deletion of their personal data, or if you uninstall the App, we process that request in accordance with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks (customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction upon uninstall).
The App does not share your store's or customers' data with any third-party analytics, advertising, or marketing platforms.
